ARTcamp: Studio Residency

ARTcamp is (NYSG) NY Studio Gallery's subsidized studio summer residency program.  During July and August, six selected artists will work together inside NYSG's main floor gallery, which is transformed into open studio spaces.  Artists work in any medium they desire, from painting, collage, video, digital art or sculpture to transforming your studio into an installation or performance space. Gallery hours continue to be in effect during ARTcamp, resulting in increased exposure for your work and interaction with the public.  NYSG will provide postcards, press releases, email blasts, a page on NYSG website, a public reception and a Gallery Guide listing.  Accepted applicants pay a nominal studio rental fee of $450 per month for 24/7 studio access.  Participants range from students, local artists in need of temporary studio space, or worldwide artists interested creating work in New York. Recipients of the residency will be informed by April 1 at which time RSVPs and a non-refundable deposit of $300 are due in order to hold your place at ARTcamp and be included in marketing efforts. Each image should be UNDER 500KB (half a megabyte). If an image is over 500KB, your submission will not be processed and you will get an error message.
