Each of us is like a marionette with attached interchangeable parts. No matter how unique and unusual our life may feel, all our experiences are universally shared by others. My misshapen characters, made out of parts that are not supposed to go together, are my own projections of nonsensical events and their consequences. They act out absurd situations in a somewhat blasé and carefree manner. Despite their fantastical nature, they possess common human attributes. The characters and their stories move freely between logical and illogical, realistic and illusory, predictable and surprising, representing life that can only be lived, but never understood.
